I am aiming to read 2-3 books per month and write a review on all of them. Sounds simple?

One of the reasons I'm not that into reading is that up to until the age of about 14 I was quite into books and studying English at school, but then I became ill with M.E.. This left me so exhausted that I struggled to get out of bed and attempting to read a book was incredibly draining; the most I would manage was looking at the pictures in Heat. I somehow struggled through English GCSE, but due to me not being able to read and write enough, I wasn't able to complete English Literature. Somehow I got a grade C in English Language, I studied 'Lord Of The Flies', I didn't actually read it all, I simply watched the DVD, ha!

So since then I have gone through phases of reading and not reading, dependent on my energy levels. Once I'm into a reading phase its great, but I soon run out of enthusiasm. In an attempt to actually use my mind a bit more and develop my writing skills I have started this blog. I hope at the end of the 12 months I will be able to see progression with the kind of books I'm reading and my reviews.

Thanks for reading this introduction, I'm going to try and get my first review up soon. Please do help me by commenting on my posts and share your views on the books I'm reading.

So long for now, Colette x
